Bill's Teaching & Prophetic Ministry
Bill's main gift throughout his 45 years of ministry has been teaching. Through his books, courses, and live ministry times he shares the Word of God in a very practical and easy to understand manner. He believes that if his audience can't apply what he taught that same day, he has not served them well. You can see some of his teachings by clicking the the Videos link above.
Bill has learned first hand from some of the strongest prophetic leaders in the USA. His prophetic gifting is a major part of his ministry and one of his greatest joys. Why? Because one prophetic word from God can set someone free, give vital direction, or confirm the will of God in a moment - and often all at the same time.
Bill has also consistently moved in the gift of healing in his personal and family life as well as during his ministry times. During the years of his circus evangelism ministry thousands came to a relationship with Jesus and were physically healed and delivered from darkness by the power of God.

Teaching Purpose
In the early years of Circus Alleluia hundreds of Christians would come to Bill after the performances asking the same questions: "How did you know this is what you were supposed to do for the Lord?" They wanted to know so they could follow the same path. In answer to those heartfelt questions Bill wrote his first book in 1986, How To Find Your Purpose In Life, which outlined the very principles and techniques he used to find and begin to live his own Kingdom purpose. Soon testimonies poured in from around the world telling how lives had been radically changed by the practical principles in his book.

In the autumn of 2007 the name of the ministry was changed from GCOM International to Purpose International to better describe the new focus of taking the message of Kingdom purpose to the world through every possible media, on all continents, for all ages.

Life Christian University
After receiving his doctorate from Life Christian University in 2000 Bill was asked to create a university level Kingdom Purpose course so it can be available to its 4000+ students on its 100+ campuses around the world. That course was voted the favorite class for 20 years by those who took it and was instrumental in launching ministries and ministers in several nations.
Master Mind Mentoring
Bill has a love of helping people become the most productive and blessed possible in God's Kingdom, no matter what their calling might be. To that end he launched what he calls, Master Mind Mentoring sessions where members can spark each others callings into a higher gear while Bill facilitates and speaks directly into each members' life. Having been mentored himself by his first pastor, Dale Brooks, Bill knows the value of such regular and consistent times of sowing into the lives of others.

Pursued
Bill began drinking at the age of 12 and started shoplifting and vandalizing for attention from friends and family. It was only his love of sports, especially surfing, that kept him from doing drugs, though most weekends he was more than intoxicated from alcohol. As he says, it was to drown out the loneliness and hopelessness.
During Bill's senior year in high school he had over 40 people share the gospel of Christ with him and he rejected every one. That same year he had a near death experience while surfing, but was saved by a Divinely given dream that morning that showed him how to survive. He was also in 3 car accidents with his head going through 2 windshields without a scratch or injury. That year he was also "forced" by his speed reading teacher to read The Cross And The Switchblade and it moved him in a major way to think more about God and who Jesus might actually be.
That's why when he went to Florida State University that fall everything began to change. He met some students who were truly happy and it intrigued him. Three weeks later he gave his heart to Christ at one of their Bible study meetings and has never looked back.

The Mandate
In 1996 during prayer the Lord asked bill, "If i asked you to change the expression of Christianity in the earth in a single generation, how would you do it?" Bill's answer, "Simple, I'd get every follower of Jesus to find and fulfill the purpose you created them for." God replied, "Great! Go do that." That launched Purpose International and the mandate of taking the Kingdom Purpose message to All ages, using All Media, on All Continents.
Purpose International Ministries was born in 1999 shortly after Bill's second book, Purpose Destiny Achievement, came out. From there, new seminars were birthed, courses created, and a teaching base was established in Kenya, Africa in 2007. Today well over one million students in high schools and universities across Kenya have heard the Kingdom Blueprint message live in classrooms, as well as on radio and social media with enduring results.
Your Kingdom Purpose Blueprint
The Purpose Institute is the seat of Bill's teaching ministry to followers of Jesus. Your Prophetic Kingdom Blueprint is a 21 video lesson course in which he takes his students step-by-step through the 80 page course workbook. Its based on Bill's best selling book, Your Unique Purpose. When finished, each student will have a written plan about who they are, what they're Prophetic Blueprint is, and how they’re going to live it out!
While anyone can purchase and go through the course online, it was created primarily for Christian high school students and is the beginning of the fulfillment of Bill's goal to see these principles taught in every high school in the world.
Personal Purpose Students
The Destiny Institute is focused solely on producing and disseminating the non-faith-based versions of Bill's teaching courses. Master Keys is the first and is based on the Kingdom Blueprint course. It presently is just the text book and workbook, but will soon become a video series as well which will be presented to secular high schools as an elective curriculum. Bill taught this course in a municipal high school in Idaho in 2019 with great success.
Personal Mentoring
In addition to the group Master Mind Mentoring sessions Bill has seen the need for dedicated believers to have a personal mentor working with them to flesh out and begin to live out their Kingdom purpose. Because he had no mentors along this line until meeting Pastor Dale Brooks, he learned quickly that one-on-one mentoring is the most valuable of all because you can concentrate completely on that one person and hear from the Holy Spirit for them without any distractions.
